01
Make room for good conversation
Outside is for everyday people, families, creators, groups and businesses. Humor and disagreement are welcome when people can take part without being targeted or exposed.
02
Keep it respectful
- Don’t threaten, harass or repeatedly target a person or group.
- Don’t use slurs or encourage violence against people.
- Criticize ideas and public actions without turning a person into a target.
- Don’t organize pile-ons or share someone’s personal details to invite unwanted attention.
03
Respect privacy and consent
- Get permission before sharing private conversations, intimate images or identifying information.
- Don’t impersonate someone or mislead people about who created a post.
- Use media you own or have permission to share.
- Don’t use messages, photos or recordings to shame, threaten or blackmail someone.
04
Keep the space useful
- Don’t spam, scam or manipulate engagement.
- Label satire and edited media clearly when people could mistake it for fact.
- Use reporting and blocking tools when you need help or distance.
05
Enforcement
These guidelines describe the standard we intend to uphold. The reporting, review and appeal process will be documented before public launch, including how users can challenge a decision.
