Safety on Outside / Outside Social
01
Protect your account
- Use a unique password and never share a sign-in code.
- Review account and device alerts when they become available.
- If you think someone has accessed your account, secure your email or phone account first and contact Outside support when the channel opens.
02
Choose what you share
- Think before posting a live location, personal schedule or identifying detail.
- Ask before posting another person’s private messages, photo or voice recording.
- Check the audience before sharing a post or moment.
03
When something feels wrong
Use block and report tools when available. Keep a record of relevant public posts, but don’t repost harmful content to call attention to it.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Outside is not an emergency response service.
04
A note about launch
Some safety tools are still being built. Before account registration opens, this page will link to the final reporting, blocking, appeal and support instructions.
